Hi all, I appreciate your patience as our site has been seeing a lot of the "kitchens for sale" posts in the forums. While there is no risk to anyone on the site, it's simply annoying to see these ads in our forums. I am not sure why these ads are being posted, but, from what I can see this is a common issue around around the world right now.

Anyway, in an effort to prevent unwanted spam, I installed a utility in our registration system that will help us keep the unwanted "bots" off the site. A "bot" is a computer program that automatically registers itself, logs in, and posts messages -- usually without the help of a human. Hence, the name 'bot or robot. Cute, eh?

The utility is simply part of our registration process. It should not be part of your every day activity. However, I am hoping this utility will help us prevent these automated systems from posting messages in our forums. Please continue to be on the lookout for the kitchen ads and use the "report post" feature to send me a note if you do see one come through. Thanks again!!
