Could someone tell me where the wiring harness should be located in the interior passenger side. From the firewall to the hole behind the seat. Does it lay against the rocker panel? Does it go under the seat? Does the emergency brake wire go behind the seat? 71Z Thank you very much, TimsZ

Here are a few ppictures that may help!

If it didn't show well enough in the pictures, the harness does run, as shown, under the passenger side kick panel, then underneath the vinyl interior

rocker finisher at the seam of the rocker panel and floor panel.

The description and drawings in the 1972 FSM probably apply to 1971 also.

If it didn't show well enough in the pictures, the harness runs from under the kick panel, to beneath the vinyl rocker finisher along the seam of the interior

rocker panel and floor panel to the front passenger seat support. It then runs over the seat support as shown, and the emergency brake wire come off

at that point and runs behind that passenger front seat support over to the brake light switch on the brake lever.

On my 76 car you just peel up the carpet right next to the outside edge of the passenger seat and the wires are right there. Right in the corner, where they can't be stepped on.
