Wheel size 225/50/16 +6 off set will work?

These are 225/50/R16 on Konig wheels with no offset. They rubbed all the way around even with the fenders rolled.

I am thinking 215/45/16. Think that would solve the issue, with the Konig Panasport knockoffs at 16X8 +6?
