Posted March 23, 201410 yr comment_443942 I have my seat covers in and am in the process of cleaning the vinyl and door panels. I ordered my seat covers a couple years ago and just now getting to work on the car. The box has White (which I have) but also lists bone and parchment or something different than the bright white. I plan to try and make them all match, but my question is did the 240 originally have same colored seat, door panel, and vinyl or did they use one color for the door panels and vinyl and slightly different colors for the seats? March 23, 201410 yr comment_443960 Carl Beck's website--- the Z Car Home Page ---lists WHITE for the 72 and earlier model years in the US and Canada.BEIGE was offered in 73 and the listing shows an asterisk for the Canadian interior colors with the notation that "Beige was just off white".I have no personal experience with white interior colors, but would hazard the opinion that they were all of the same color/shade.Jim D."Zup" Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/48831-interior-colors/#findComment-443960 Share on other sites

March 24, 201410 yr comment_444061 Parchment is a 73 color best I can tell from research of owning a 73 blue with 0ff-white/Parchment interior. 72 and older had just plain white interiors. I am also told that in 73 the regulations changed to require that the vinyl be fire retarted thus making the white more off-white in nature. This is what I am told but it could all be just legend. All and all I know I order off-white stuff from Les at Classic Datsun and it matches my interior very will minus the sun damage and dirt over time.
