Steering wheel vibration/wobbling problem still not found

just a thought i had on this. ive used this technique to spot bad tires in the past. its not

exact but its worked for me. i get a 4' or so piece of 2x4 wood and drive a nail in the center.

jack up the car and put the wood with the nail lightly against the tread and turn the tire.

its a crude dial indicator. if the tire is out of round you it will get hard then easy to turn.

you can also use white spray paint on the tread to see lighter or heavier areas.

Problem found... chas's wheels solved the problem, it was not even aligned yet, but a steady ride finally..

now I know where to look, possibly other new rims and bolts..

Oh yeah it did ! I almost went mental on this issue..

But now the next step.. finding classic 14 inch wheels for it.

It seems in the USA plenty.. but here ?
