I was able to do some WONDERS with the right products. Fine grit Meguiers compound, and Ultimate Polish. No wax 'yet.' I have a lot more work to do, but here she is!

After C&O last month, you guys really kicked my arse into high gear. My car was the nastiest of the group.

HUGE difference over stock. (This was after getting it home. Look how nasty the hood is.)

And because I'm feeling nostalgic, my old '75 620. Had a built long rod stroker, .475 Racer brown cam, etc etc. Man I miss that truck.

I've been trying to keep up with my build threads everywhere, but it can be tricky. 

I've been doing regular maintenance. Thanks to Blue, got the carbs a lot better off. Decided a few weeks ago to have a go at the paint and.... voila! 

 

 

Picking up a better off L28 this weekend probably, and starting the rebuild. It's already got flat tops, and will be coupled to either my E31 head (once repaired) or MN47 head once re-worked. 

Remember.  KEEP ALL OF YOUR 240Z PARTS and collect the ones missing.  That will be a $30-$40k car in 5 to 10 years in stock form and you can thank me then

Are you going to replace the mirror with an original?

In time, I may search out a paid. I'm not looking to invest any money in those details at the moment, until the car is 100% mechanically restored. 

I'm not sure, the car is a repaint however it's very close to the original. I still have the paint code sticker under the hood, I'll take a look tomorrow.
