Building A L28 (Na)

I see.  It came that way, previous damage.  I started in the middle of the pictures.  Looks like your damper was going bad also.

Do you have specs. on the engine.  CR, valve lift, final displacement, etc.?  I saw the general stuff but no numbers.  The valve relief in those pistons has to lower CR.  Just wondering.

Looks like he's running 0.54 mm (0.021") "pop-up" on the pistons also.  There was just an interesting thread on that a few days ago.  Thanks for posting.

You see, when you throw numbers at me like that, you're flying a plane that soars way past my head's capable radar, haha.

As I mentioned in my post, I'm still learning about the whole process, so I'm no motor-guru like you lads.

The CR should sit snug somewhere between 10.5 to 11, but according to Mr. Hosomi, the motor will feed just fine on 91 octane without throwing a fit.

The displacement should allocate around 3.0 Litres.

The Cam duration is .300 and the lift is .560 .290 and the lift is .490 if my memory serves me right (more often than not, it doesn't.)

I want the car to idle nicely and be able to drive around town, but I'm not really looking for a Prius here. If it raises hell everywhere it goes, I'm fine with that! According to Eiji, though, his setup will run very smooth.

Love to see the official build sheet on the engine too! Well at least what info is willing to share.

I saw that to Zed, I presume .021 above deck, but would like to be sure.

Anything done to the crank?

Thanks for sharing the pics-engine porn!

Thanks all of you for helping me and supporting the build! Really helps in keeping it all going. I updated some simple specs on the front page.
