I am wondering about dash cap quality from American Dash. This will be the second cap I have installed on my 78 280. The first warped . It came from MSA but was my bad as I left in the sun with out gluing down first. The American Dash cap is $40 higher and a little more freight but ad says heat resistant. Just wondering if American Dash is worth the extra money. Any thoughts or first hand knowledge about the American brand will be great. I have read somewhere that the caps are all made by the same company and if so might as well buy the cheap one. Thanks JB

Probably the key words are "heat resistant". Give it enough heat and it will warp.
