January 16, 201510 yr Author comment_461940 Hey Haz, a little off topic but you wouldn't by any chance still have the BCDD for your 75 would you? If so was it working that you know of? I started a thread about an issue I'm having with mine and not sure which direction I'm going to take yet. Whether to remove it or not that is. If yours is working would you want to part with it? Bob I believe I do, not sure if it worked. Honestly I dont even know what it does. But I was planning on selling the whole EFI system as a whole. January 18, 201510 yr Author comment_462048 I "re-chromed" my door panel strips today. I bought some chrome vinyl wrap off Ebay and cut some strips and applied it with a heat gun. It turned out really nice. Heres what they looked like before, typical chrome peeled off exposing blue plastic. Applying the chrome vinyl. Heated it up with a heat gun, tucked the edges with a bondo squeegee, then trimmed off the excess. Much better. Did the same with my rear dogleg panels. January 18, 201510 yr comment_462050 That looks awesome! Good steady hand too. Did you use an exacto-knife? Going to have to look at the dog legs on my 77....don't recall there being a strip on mine, hmm... Never mind on the knife, I see it now. Had to look at it again, nice! How did you get your door panels to look so good. They look brand new, are they? January 21, 201510 yr Author Popular Post comment_462245 A little progress today. I received my custom plug wires, heat shield, manifold stud kit, and new valve cover bolts from Datsun Spirit today. I also installed my new 3 row aluminum radiator. I also hooked up my battery for the first time in over a year. No blown fuses or fires, so thats a good sign. No dash lights though...hmmm.
