February 27, 201510 yr Author comment_464472 I installed my MSD box today. Still need to run a couple more wires but its pretty straight forward. I mounted it in the drivers kick panel where the EFI unit was. First I mounted the insulators Then the box. It fits nice in there Heres a couple shots of my engine bay. I still need to tidy things up and route my fuel lines better. February 27, 201510 yr comment_464473 what are you doing for the crankcase breather (the one under the thermostat housing)? Did you just cap it off or are you venting it some other method? February 27, 201510 yr comment_464474 Looks so good Matt! And thanks to all for the input. I'll try the Eastwood product and if I have to try a more dire route someday, then so be it. I sincerely hope this is the 90% I didn't see! February 27, 201510 yr Author comment_464475 what are you doing for the crankcase breather (the one under the thermostat housing)? Did you just cap it off or are you venting it some other method? Using an oil catch can mounted next to the radiator. February 27, 201510 yr comment_464488 You should add a 90 degree fitting at the crankcase vent output an then route the hose towards the front of the engine and then over to the catchcan. Maybe you could find a preformed hose with a 90 in it already.... That would be nice!Sent from my iPizzle ringy dingy device.... February 28, 201510 yr Author comment_464542 If it were to go any further forward the fan would hit it. I need to figure out something for the valve cover vent though. February 28, 201510 yr comment_464543 Can you not route it forwards to behind the distributor? Then across to the catch can. Sent from my iPizzle ringy dingy device.... February 28, 201510 yr Author comment_464553 The metal tube that goes into the block has a 45 degree bend that is about 4" long. The straight tube that originally came in the block was "lost". So he sent me this one. If I angle it forward the tube will be too close to the fan. I might address this issue later on, but right now I just wanna get this thing running Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/49193-my-datsun-280z-rustoration/?&page=28#findComment-464553 Share on other sites

Its good quality material but the fit isnt the greatest. It required some trimming."So much good info in this thread!Sent from my iPizzle ringy dingy device....
