Posted May 15, 201410 yr comment_447910 I'll need to replace the intake/exhaust gasket and my head is ported. I had bought the one from MSA, but returned it after seeing the metal liner in the gasket. I think it would be too difficult to cut it in order to match the ports. Anyone know the part number by chance or where I can order it online? I heard felpro makes one, but thats about it.I also have Right Stuff Gasket Maker but haven't really used it much. and don't want to try it unless someone else has already had success. Way too much work to do this twice! Gasket Makers : Permatex® the Right Stuff® Gasket MakerAlso, I don't need the air injection stuff for smog. Its a N42 head with the usual square ports. May 16, 201410 yr comment_447918 I'm almost positive that the Fel-Pro gasket is all organic. People call them paper gaskets. You could probably go to your local parts store and eyeball one, they are the common gasket. They do seem to require freshly machined flat surfaces to seal well though, whereas the MSA and Victor Reinz gaskets are thicker. I've used a Dremel tool on both the Reinz and MSA to fit to a stock manifold and head. They didn't fit the ports quite right on even the stock parts. Hopefully, will find the paper ones and just end up using a x-acto instead.! May 16, 201410 yr comment_447956 The Nissan Motorsports gasket was made by Garlock and is easily cut to fit modified parts. There is also a gasket from Hooker for their Super Comp headers that might work. May 16, 201410 yr comment_447958 The Felpro gaskets aren't bad , but not as easy to cut as straight paper. They are graphite impregnated and I have had no issues cutting them. The biggest issue I have had is them getting damaged in shipping to the parts store(autozone). I usually order 2 to get one good one Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/49241-intake-exhaust-gasket-which-i-can-cut-to-match-ports/#findComment-447958 Share on other sites

Yes, from the sparks, there's definitely a metal layer inside. Hope this thing lasts, will be putting high temp rtv on the exhaust ports too.
