The diode pack can be replaced but I don't know if that is often done nor if you have to take the alternator apart to replace them. May 21, 201410 yr comment_448220 Look for a voltage leak or lamp that doesn't go out. Look at your glove box and the engine bay light to make sure they are off.My glove box light switch had been pushed back and didn't go out. Over a couple days, battery was too low to start. Bent the mount back out, and no more problem...
