I am trying to find center caps for the turbine style wheels. These are on a 78/280z and I think are the original wheels. The opening has a outer shoulder that measures 3.25" but the inner opening is 3.5". Anyone know where I can find center caps to fit these wheels. I have looked at MSA,summit and on the internet but cannot find what I think would fit. I plan to paint them so any material would work. Thanks for any replies, JB

We are going to need a picture of these wheels. The only Nissan alloy wheel that came on North American 78 280's is not a "turbine" style wheel.

http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/body-paint-s30/21653-newly-painted-280z.html post #13 shows the wheels and hub caps there were the only factory options in 78.

Someone else was asking about center caps a couple of days ago. There were several suppliers mentioned.

zKars and Arne, Thanks for the replies. I found a picture of my wheels on a search of "wheel center caps". The post is from steve91tt. Arne, you are able to identify them in that post, as a Western Aluminum wheel. But the center hole on mine are 3.25" and then they enlarge to 3.50". I found the caps on MSA but they are 3&3/16". They state that the caps push in and I do not think they will be big enough to stay in. I will keep looking and maybe find some that will work. Thanks again. JB
