Datsun competition csm timing

Im finally rebuilding my head and im putting in the datsun competition cam. My question is when setting the timing dowel on the cam sproket, which one is better suited for the C cam? #1 as it came on stock 260z or #2 because its slightly upgraded compared to the other cams. I know its not a "hot" cam but its slight performance to me any in would appreciated
