Alfa you have to remember that it was a US nissan dealer making those comments. They never got Skylines in the USA. The 300ZX twin turbo was the highest spec nissan they got. And it was a show about the Z, so he's not going to say Z's are good, but the GTR skyline can kick its arse.

R33's are bland. the R32 has better, more agressive styling.

It was funny when he said the Z going to be around for a long time. It was filmed in 1995, and the 300zx ceased production in 1998.

We had to wait 5 years before it came back as the 350Z.

This program, apparently, airs on 'History Channel International' rather than the regular History Channel. I had searched months to find it. I recorded it today. History Channel International is only available on digital cable or dish tv. It's not on regular cable. As soon as I find out when its next airing is, I will reply again to this thread. It is pretty much like everyone says but it is still a worthwhile addition to any Z enthusiasts collection.

The next airing of the Nissan Z documentary will be Friday November, 28 @ 11pm EST on History Channel International. This is the only listing I was able to find as you can only search up to two weeks ahead on their site. I will post other listings as I find them.

Well, I've TIVOed the airing and have it marked not to delete. If anyone wants a copy, I'd be glad to dump it to videotape if you send me a tape with a prepaid return padded envelope. Contact me via PM if you like.

Please DON'T lecture me on copyrights...:finger:

I checked the Optus and Foxtel websites and they seem to only offer 'History Channel' as opposed to 'History Channel International' which is where this program airs. Over here in the US you have to have digital cable or some type of dish/sattelite setup in order to get this channel. I'm not familiar with such setups in Oz.
