Need 280z left inner tie rod end

Recommended Posts

A tough and common problem.

The solution many choose is to put a right hand end on and change the tie rod to a right one as well. Both sides are exactly the same except for the thread. Just have to find an alignment person who can handle moving his wrench in two different directions to set the toe in.

This is the only place that I know where you can get inner tie rod ends to replace the ones on our Z's.

I have used them and they provided an excellent upgrade to the 35 year old originals that I had on my rack. Once I located these I found the results of rebuilding my existing rack provided a far better end product than the "rebuilt" racks you can purchase on line.

Thank you so much for the info. Spoke with mechanic and decided to go the Right route. :classic:

Mike,

Thanks so much for link. Ordered parts and mechanic will make it work with the right I/O tie rod ends on the left.
