Posted August 4, 201410 yr comment_452747 While working on the Z over the weekend I took a movie of my fuel pressure gauge for fun and enjoyment (and as a record of what its behavior is when the motor is running well). August 5, 201410 yr comment_452800 Cool video. Looks like your fuel pressure regulator is responding properly to the changes in manifold vacuum.I don't remember the pressure specs off the top of my head... Is 30 psi at idle a suitable value? August 5, 201410 yr comment_452804 Off the top of my head, an 18'sh or 19'ish in Hg vacuum is about 7 psi, and if you take that 7 psi off of the 36, you get roughly 29 psi at idle -- for an engine running at proper mixture. Anyway, the differential between WOT and idle should be about 7 psi, which it appears to be.
