Posted March 5, 200322 yr comment_28756 Hi fellow Z/Zed fans,The radiator on my 240z gave up on me today…(bad leak on the core) I was wondering if anyone know of a good shop/store that sell radiators…What I meant was…not your stock 240z radiator; I would like to get at least the 3-row radiator or performance radiator that would bolt up over stock. My budget is small (hence the word budget) will be 200usd. Yes, I know that’s not a lot of money but someone out there might know a shop or a store. Good or bad, your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Cel Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4986-240z-radiator/ Share on other sites
March 5, 200322 yr comment_28757 MSA has 3 row radiators for 194.95 and 4 row for 244.95 If I were you I'd scratch together just a wee bit more and go for the 4 row considering the small price difference and the added capacity and piece of mind a 4 row can give... I've used the 4 rows on more than one car, I raced a 280 without a fan with a 4 row, and the only time it ever went over 190 was sitting in the pits. You might check their specials as the radiators are usually in their sale catalogs. March 5, 200322 yr comment_28758 you can put a 280 radiator in.... it is a tight fit but if your running in a hot area or get stuck in rush hour traffic it'll be worth it. I've seen them online for just under $200 (I can't remember where right now) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4986-240z-radiator/#findComment-28758 Share on other sites

March 6, 200322 yr comment_28775 Yes, a 280 radiator will work, but the bottom of the core is going to hang below the radiator support as the core is taller on a 280 radiator. Plus you'll have to do a little work to get the mounting right on the radiator support as the bolts won't line up...
