For the past several weeks my one owner 79 280zx has been listed for sale in the classifieds section. It sold a few days ago and I must admit I had a tear in my eyes as I watched it drive away, knowing that in all likelyhood, I'll never see it again. I had envisioned that it would be sold to a local here in Colorado, that I would still get occasional glimpses of it and that it might even be involved in our local Z Car Club.

Today, it is in a shipping container on its way to a new owner in Saudi Arabia. I know car guys and gals are the same worldwide - whether they're in England, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, The U.S. or Saudi Arabia, we are a world wide fraternity with a common interest in our cars. If only car guys were running all of the governments, i'm sure we would have a much more peaceful world to live in.

So goodby to my little white ZX and it's on to the restoration of my 72 240Z.

I think I'd feel the same way about my '72 now.

I have been tossing up about selling my 72. This makes me think i will hold it for a while yet. At least for another summer down here. NZ

I must admit i would be sad to see her go as well.
