jalexquijano Posted September 9, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2014 My right front turn signal light was not working a couple of weeks ago, whenever you move the turn signal switch to the right only the rear right turn signal lamp flashed. I decided to take the car to a shop where they fixed it and now it does flashes. However, yesterday when i parked the car in front of an establishment i noticed that stepping on the brake also activated the right front turn signal light. Is this normal?? I think only the rear lights should actÃvate whenever you step the brake pedal. How do i fix this problem?

SteveJ Posted September 9, 2014 Share #3 Posted September 9, 2014 Now that I thought about it for a moment, it was quite possible that an idiot mechanic jumpered wires between the front and rear at the turn signal switch. jalexquijano Posted September 15, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Now that I thought about it for a moment, it was quite possible that an idiot mechanic jumpered wires between the front and rear at the turn signal switch. Read this on repairing the turn signal switch: Turn Signal Repair | Fiddling With Z CarsDo I really need to remove the turn signal switch to determine why does the right turn signal light activates when stepping on the brake pedal even though it is working properly on the rear lights and the front left turn signal light? I am scared it can break apart easily and the springs all fall down into pieces. Edited September 15, 2014 by jalexquijano
