Show us what you have - Performance Pedal

Not a lot of conversation on this one but I just completed an install and really topped of my interior nicely. Great foot feel - the rest, brake, and clutch as a very aggressive topping - the gas pedal more smooth. Very high quality and several styles to choose from depending on your spend for this mod.

nissan 240z Racing Pedals

Easy install - remove - tape - mark - drill - install. I did cut off approx 2" of the gas pedal metal to shorten up things a little. Install time was about a little over an hour. Not sure why the gas pedal was designed so long but it was not needed that long IMO.

Shipping was approx 3 weeks - made to order.

For very precise control of the accelerator pedal and clutch, try driving in socks.... you can really modulate the pedals more precisely.

Not practical but a fun experiment.

Driving with winter boots or hiking boots has the opposite effect.... ask a Canuck (especially anyone in Alberta this week) LOL

I did the exact same thing from the same company. Mine are in black anodize with a silver countersink. They look great and also give you a better feel when driving. I also did the kick plate which keeps your heel in place and also prevents premature wear of your carpet or floormat.

I got the idea from my son who had already installed them on his 2010 Camaro. He's pretty picky with this kind of stuff but he raved about them, so I gave them a shot.

Here's a picture of my install.

Mike.

Very funny. Driving with socks in the snow is a treat indeed.... Stupid snow, broke thousands of trees in town, real mess.

I"m not in favor of putting blingy things on the pedals. Plus, I'd usually say that pedals are don't do anything for "performance" but the things do wear out eventually, so you could put on something that would decrease the wear or weat less. What I'd ask you guys is can you get ones that are more period-correct? Like putting the footy gas pedal on a dune buggy..

As for driving with boots on, I've tried it on rare occasions, and I have found that, at least on my DD car, the gas pedal is much too close to the brake pedal, so it's dangerous to drive like that. The last time I had boots in my car in the winter, I kept them in the boot (ha ha) and drove with the street shoes, then changed into the boots at the destination.
