Posted March 7, 200322 yr comment_28977 The 71 Z I recently bought I found sitting at my neighbors ranch, he informed me that he thought mice had been living in it. I found evidence of this, they leave clues laying around, so I set out on finding the nest they used. It turns out they turned the heater into an apartment complex. I removed the heating system completely and obviously cleaned it very well. Though the mice had ripped apart the foam padding for thier nest that is on each side of the little door in the heater that you open and close to allow air to blow through. Is there a place to buy replacement foam pads to stick in there, or would I be better off getting a similar thickness foam and cutting out my own. If this is the easier way is there a recomended adhesive to use? Something that will not lose it adhesivness from heat? Thanks in advance for any help.Bart1971 240 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5018-z-heater-question/ Share on other sites
