Well, if you are reading this, you're now using our new website design!  Welcome to the new look of The Classic Zcar Club.  I just wanted to take a moment and let all of you know this latest project has been an extreme labor of love.  After testing this over the last several months, I've been able to migrate all of our data within a period of just a few days.  While there is still more work to be done, the website is now ready for you guys to jump back in with both feet.

All of our data has been migrated.  If you are looking for something that was in our old site, please give me another few days to bring it online.  All of the data is here, but, most of it has been disabled for viewing until I have a chance to go through and formalize the permissions.

The old site is still online, you can see it at this URL:  http://legacy.classiczcars.com

In the next few days I'll be working to bring you all of the things you have been used to seeing on our site.  Feel free to reply to this message with your questions or concerns.  Thanks again for your patience and enjoy the site!

Mike

Mke, Font tweaks are going well and I see you got rid of the (superfluous) background as well. Thanks!

Any thoughts on the paste and IE11 compatibility issues? I'm assuming that if the same problem exists on other forums then there's nothing you can do on your end, but figured I'd just ask.

The blue in the quoted text box is pleasing to the eye but the font is still small and washed out.

Trying out some cut and paste below, right-clicking:

Using the chain link from the formatting bar above:

Note the tiny font in the box.  Chrome, Win 7.  Full size, not mobile.

Re: Reply to Box at bottom of page. Mike, can you make the bottom Reply To Topic  dialog box with a darker border outline? I was thinking it was a Radio Button all this time.

Border outline was so washed out that I could not see it in Win7.   I literally could not see that it was a " Box " until I accidentally hovered my mouse in the Active area and I saw a Blinking cursor line. I find that Win 7 tends to wash out all browser and E-Mail text more than XP and earlier MS OS's:

BTW: Here's a site that I visit often and find easy to read, especially with Win 7. May help with some of the tweaks.

On a side note. Why do some threads show a "view first unread" button at the top and some don't? Does it have to do with the number of replys or possibly having more than one page of posts? I have become accustomed to using that in the old software to get to new posts with out having to browse thru a page of posts to see where the new ones are...

Thanks, Charles

I think it is critical to hide birthday information as it is used by credit card companies for id when calling.

Blue the birthdays are not seen by public. All profile information is hidden by search engines and bots. On that note, I am still looking for a way to hide the birthday even from members.

Sure, I'll look into it.

It has to do with the cookie that's stored on your computer.  It looks at it and then decides if you have unread posts.

Are you guys aware that there is a new chatroom?  the link is on the navigation pane on the left.

Yep, chatroom rocks!
