For those of you who don't subscribe, you are missing out this month. It seems our "illustrious" leader Mike has written an article for this months issue. Not only that, but our site is advertised in the magazine as well.

I'll let Mike give you "the rest of the story" and leave it at that.:classic:

Still having troubles with the whole indoor plumbing thing, our toilets keep insisting on flushing to wrong way. (seriously, it was only a few years ago that we had a door put through to our bathroom, so you no longer had to trudge around the outside, and being suspicious of this new fangled plumbing thing, our laundry is still outside)

On the issues of magazines, I tend to only buy a magazine which has an article of interest to me in it. Why the hell would I suscribe, only to have the magazine get carried away by write ups on ugly toads. Its a lot of money, especially when you consider what you can buy to go on a Z for that price to me even a little trinket is worth more than a magazine on the floor. Especially a magazine focussing on the yank aspect of Z cars, which isn't really their prettiest form. I'll happily pay my 50c to $2 for an old mag at a swapmeet, and get weeks of fun from the old adds, etc, but i hate getting trapped with something you don't want, speaking of which, anyone want to buy some 76 260Z bits? :disappoin

Hey Keith- we all blame the drivers of the mail trucks!ROFL

Seriously, i got mine yesterday (3/18). I asked the wife if we got any good mail?

"Nah, just bills and junk"

Then i spy my magazine hours later in the rack on the floor:finger: GRRRR.......

She just wanted to be sure she got my attention before i read it cover to cover:classic:

Hmm, I've had mine for 10 days now....LOL

Guess we can see how much fast the First Class shipping really is....:cross-eye

Keith:

Thanks so much for rubbing it in!:finger:

I was one of the first to request that they offer First Class Mail, and signed up for it immediately for the first year of publication, however when renewal time came, they assured me that their standard mailing method had changed to a different class of mail and would be much quicker than in the past, so I elected to save the $7 extra cost for First class mailing. I'm not blaming the publishers, but that hasn't panned out.

I will be signing up for First Class Mailing on my renewal for the next year which for me starts with Summer 03 issue. (I got the premier issue as a single)

I don't just blame the Mail Truck drivers. I blame the entire mail system, for their inefficiency. Your letter carrier is but a small piece of the systemic problem!

PS Jeremiah: I see that your Screen Name has changed!

Carl, as far as blaming mail truck drivers, i am singling out Keith as being solely responsible- because i cannot avoid busting balls when the chance arisesLOL

Yes, i realize he hasn't been working, but that won't stop me!

And yes, my screenname has changed- i'll post in the appropriate thread...

Carl, I signed up for the First Class for not so much faster delivery, but due to the fact the magazine is shipped in an envelope. I get so tired of new magazines coming in the mail looking like every "Bubba" had taken in to the restroom during his 20 minute "throne break" that I was about to quit all my magazine subscriptions and spend the extra couple bucks to nuy them on the newstand where I could pick out a copy that wasn't creased, floded and mutilated.....:tapemouth

I wish more magazines gave us that option.....

And as far as you go there MR. Axtell.... I just had a Dream Garage poster lost with Priority Mail, and the Priority Mial doesn't go on trucks.....LOL

BTW, my labor prices just went up considerably...ROFL :stupid: LOL

Can you say GOTCHA?:devious:
