Like the new look and improved speed. Only problem I had was my that my "favorite" entry opened the home page instead of the forums. Took me awhile to figure out why clicking on "View New Content" didn't open to the forums and returned "no new content".

Looking for the Classified section to re-appear. I understand it still has it's free standing site, but adding the link to the menu would be helpful.

Thanks guys. While I cant go back to the old system, I appreciate the comments about how we can improve this new layout. The old site is still available for reference, at http://legacy.classiczcars.com. dp not post over at that site because it's no longer active. But please be sure to let me know in the comments how we can improve this one.

Mike

I clicked on "mobile" at the bottom of the first page on the first day and I can not revert back. The screen is minimalistic for sure :)

You can fix this by clearing your cache and cookies for this site. Once you do this it will expire any settings you have saved locally.  You can then select the theme you want.  :)

Any thoughts on when some changes might happen?  I know that you're losing viewing time from me, just because of the hard to read font.  The site used to be pleasing just to look at and browse, now other sites are more pleasing.  This one has lost a lot.

In addition to the small washed out font, the actual size of the useful content has been reduce by about 20%, with the big empty bar on the side.  I'm effectively looking at a smaller monitor.  Used to be 15", now it's 12".

Edit - the brown and gray color scheme is depressing also.  A bigger, thicker, darker font everywhere; full width when a thread is opened; and more color on the page would be the first three things I would do .  Soon.

Hey Mike, as I have said a few times before, I love this site and all the work you do on it.

Personally, I hate change but that is more about me becoming and old fart than the new look.

I find the new site very easy to use and intuitive. Good work.

Really the only thing I miss is the spell check red line under mis-spelled words.

If I'm flying along on a reply to someone I rely on the red line to tell me I'm going too fast and I should re-read my reply.  But I'll get use it.

Thanks,

Chris

Don't like the light brown text. Too hard to focus on and doesn't "pop" out like it should. Hard on the ol' eyeballs!

Text is now black, I actually agree that it's much better as black.  Somehow I didn't notice but this is a lot better.

Made a few tonight.  And, for you I increased the font to the 14pt size.  Both of these ideas are actually very good ideas.  I couldn't find the font size quickly but after a bit of code searching I found it.

I'll think about a solution on the theme...  maybe what we need is a few to pick from and then vote on the final design.  I don't really want to support more than a single theme because changes can be a bitch...  (this font thing is a good example)

Anyway, good ideas, keep 'em coming.
