A quick question for you knowledgeable folks - the tool kit that came with my 1971 240Z has rigid one piece, non-folding wheel chocks. I picked up another Nissan tool bag that includes two folding wheel chocks. Are the folding wheel chocks from a different year or is this tool bag for a different model Datsun?

 

Any thoughts?

My '72s have two 1 piece yellow ones.  '77 has 2 folding orange chocks.

Not sure if I'm correct, but I think the folding ones were supplied with the 2+2 and the non-folding units were for the coupe.

I've been using a chunk of wood sawn into a wedge shape for a few years, an I started thinking lately about making a few of the 1-pice design.  Can anyone measure  theirs and post the details (metal thickness, width, and overall length?

Thanks for the detailed photos.  You did everything but  make a few dozen examples (you don't need that many, so you end up selling them, at a profit...)
