if i enter the following url into the address bar:  "classiczcars.com"

i get redirected to here:  http://www.classiczcars.com/page/index.html

and the page loads fine.

 

but if i select "classiczcars.com/"

i get redirected to "https://www.classiczcars.com/"   (note the https)

and firefox presents me with a "This connection is untrusted" page.

 

 

is the website redirecting me to the wrong page, or is there an invalid entry stuck in my browser history?

This is probably on your side.  We don't have a redirect to https://  Might want to try on a different browser first, and then clear your cookies and cache, then give it another try.
