Does anyone have any of the original wing nut bolts that hold the air cleaner onto the SUs?  I am in need of 4 of the wing nut bolts only, don't need the receiving nut that it goes into.

Thanks!

Here's the microfiche, http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsuns30/DatsunZIndex/Engine240Z260Z/AirCleaner240Z(L24)/ToJun-72/tabid/1579/Default.aspx

If it's #11, I googled the part number and a few places had them.  Hope this helps.

A lot of times I can call my local Nissan parts department and give them the number and they can get the parts, sometimes the next day.  They don't like going back as far as our cars, they have to get out their microfiche, their computers don't go back that far.

Late to the game! The air cleaner bolts from Nissan with the part number are now hex head. https://parts.nissanusa.com/p/Datsun__240Z/BOLT/89410733/16516-E3210.html

I just purchased a set of Datsun Roadster wing nut bolts that look to be the same thread and length. I will provide an update when they arrive.

Cheers, Kirk

Okay - The Roadster bolts are a little longer then the 240Z bolts. I drilled out two aluminum hex head valve caps, which sealed the air cleaner against the seal.
