December 25, 201410 yr comment_460787 Keep in mind if you get a used one, be sure you can get the old strut out. I have sold some in the past and have pulled the struts to make them lighter to ship. I had one I could not get the strut out even chained between 2 trees with a come-a-long pulling and heat. They can get very corroded in there.Charles Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/50598-front-strut-assembly-question/?&page=2#findComment-460787 Share on other sites
December 26, 201410 yr comment_460800 Wow, 500 bucks for a used strut. I picked up a set a couple of months back. A guy had them here in NL for sale and I couldn't resist. Yep hoerder in denial, Im afraid. Now if I only had a bigger garage;)Good luck repairing it. It doesn't look that bad that it's not repairable.Chas Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/50598-front-strut-assembly-question/?&page=2#findComment-460800 Share on other sites
March 19, 201510 yr comment_465992 If anyone is looking for used struts, I have a full set pulled off a donor car. Will sell the whole set for less than 500.
