I am about to upgrade my stock 240Z dizzy with a 280ZX pointless dizzy.

Naturally I want to match the coild and ignition system to give better peroformanc/better spark.

Any suggetions would be appreciated to more horsies :cheeky:

PS Don't take any notice of speling as fingers don;t work too well on keyboard and brain note engaged and............

from the block up. meaning the adapter to the block and all.

get at least a 45000 volt coil, remove your ballast resistor, you will no longer need it. you will have to switch to a 280 Z tach though i dont know about what you have down under.

either that or a tach adapter from msd might work not sure on that one.

besides that its really easy and will only take a few minutes to complete.

Will move up to an MSD coil and see how things go.

Why do you / I need the 280z tach. ? don't I just connect the Bw wire to the pos. side of the coil ??
