Woke the Z up after 4 1/2 months of sleeping.  Waiting for a few more good rains to get all the crap off the roads

Insured it for the year, and had a friend video tape a 2nd gear run so I could hear the new exhaust and carbs do their work.

When I was in the dash area doing my lighting refresh, I noticed the foam seals on the vent diffuser were shot.

Picked up some 1/2" window seal at Lowes, has nice memory foam.  Cleaned & replaced the seals.

Another "while I was in there deal".

 

Installed the new Futofab sway bar I bought for the green 72. Easy installation and really helps in the corners.

I read a lot of posts claiming these cars handle better without a rear bar. I'll be putting mine on next week hopefully. Did you need to drill any holes for mounting (assuming it wasn't equipped with one, prior)?

You have to drill two 3/8 inch holes. I bought a 9 inch drill extension to drill the holes. If you go on the Futofab site, they show the directions in the add. The whole installation only takes about 1 1/2 hours.

Thanks, my bar(s) were ordered by Silvermine, but shipped from MSA. Will need to compare notes with the Futofab site. I don't recall any documentation coming with my set.
