mgood Posted June 23, 2015 Share #229 Posted June 23, 2015 Finally got around to attaching my fire extinguisher in the car, now I don't have to worry about it rolling around. I used a 1/16 thick sheet and cut out a piece to span the passinger seat bolts and drilled holes for the plastic holder in two locations and used the best fit. The passinger seat does not move up but a couple of inches now but no worry there, no one sits in that seat but my granddaughter once in a while. S30Driver Posted June 24, 2015 Share #230 Posted June 24, 2015 Completed my purchase of all new tires with the 2 fronts. Mounted & an alignment at Kent Rylee Automotive in Rogers AR. Big thanks to Zup for putting me on to them. Great place & expert job done by Van. Some interesting Detroit iron in there as well - 58 Pontiac & 68 Camero convertible. I love the grip of those Dunlops .....
HuD 91gt Posted June 25, 2015 Share #231 Posted June 25, 2015 Painted the block and buttoned her all up. I do believe she is ready to be bolted in.
Red7 Posted June 25, 2015 Share #232 Posted June 25, 2015 The UK licensing agency assigned a Registration number to my '72 240Z, DRS 329K, the letter K at the end represents the year of manufacture, the others are totally random registration letters and numbers, however DRS are my initials! Some things are meant to be :-)

Red7 Posted June 25, 2015 Share #234 Posted June 25, 2015 The 1969 TR6 I owned while in the UK was URW778G.Never really knew what the number represented.Apparently random as you suggest.Originally the first 3 letters would represent the area the car was first registered, then the numbers would be the , in your case, 778 car to be registered and the final letter represents the year of Registration, Back then the registration year went from Augist 1st through to July 31st the following year, strange but true :-)G= Aug 68-July69H=Aug 69-July70 etc I had a 71 TR6 in Red, YJF 565J 👠

Montezuma Posted June 30, 2015 Share #237 Posted June 30, 2015 Finally put on my headlight upgrade on my 73. I bought it at Motorsport in April during the Zbash, finally got around to putting it last night. I want to upgrade the dash lights next. A wonderful kit. We also fixed a cracked fuel line from the tank to the electric fuel pump. That went well too. Nice to no longer be a cigarette away from being a bomb. 240tom Posted July 1, 2015 Share #238 Posted July 1, 2015 This is from this past Sunday, June 28. Took her for her first turn on the "Tail of the Dragon" and then the Foothills Parkway here in East Tennessee. This picture is from the Parkway looking out over where I live, West Millers Cove. If you've heard of Blackberry Farm Resort, that's the place. She was wonderful, screaming through the Dragon! I may have sped just a bit. Handling was unbelievable, and very strong. Pretty sure I and the bride are going to take her to Memphis for ZCON.

S30Driver Posted July 4, 2015 Share #240 Posted July 4, 2015 Finally met up with Zup (Jim) , a great guy! He was in the area picking up his beautifully re-chromed bumpers for his 73 240. Great to talk with him & show him my beloved 280z, as well as the liquor store project I've been working on. Hope to make the trip to Memphis with him coming up soon ... Thanks for stopping by Jim
