[2015] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?

Removed my R180 4:11 diffy (from a 200SX). Going to install R180 3:54 (from an automatic car). I think my canyon carving days are over...time to get the revs down for highway driving. I will install the proper 17 tooth/black speedo cog when I again crawl under the car, probably next week. Heading out for an aspen viewing drive to Telluride Oct 1. Looking forward to it.

Pop's, funny you should mention that. I have been thinking the exact same thing.

Its getting time for the 4:11 lsd diff. to go. Been 20 years since I ran my last autocross.

Just cruise the roads now. I got old. 

I see you are in Fort Collins. I remember a trip to Fort Collins back when I was stationed

at Lowry AFB in Denver. Four of us drove up to see check out the pubs. It was a hell of a drive back.

In fact we had to pull off and sleep in the car.

What happened when we woke up is another story. Ha.

FYI, since WCR has shut down my differential hunt also came to an end. I'm running a welded 3.36 and am in dire need of an LSD and a 4.11 would be perfect.

Collected the Z from the tuners today, the consensus about the Facet Fuel Pump was that it will be ok mounted in the engine compartment, we'll see but I'm happy with it and the triple instillation [emoji106][emoji106] also stripped my wheel Trims ( caps ) ready for refurbing :-) it's been a good day

I really like that set up much better than mine. My Mikuni manifold made in the 70's does

not have the adjustable arms like yours. I just may have save and upgrade after seeing yours.

Red7. If they say its good in that location, then go with it. I assume they would know more than me.

Here is an updated photo of where I installed mine in the factory location.

The pump bracket shown came on my 72 from the factory.

Zstory Jdm silencer/muffler installed! The sound is very nice.

No drone and quiet below 3000 rpm and above 4000 it makes a fantastic sound!
