Zcar Club Gallery Is Back!

Wanted to say thanks for your patience as I had the photo gallery finally migrated.  As of today, it brings me much pride to announce the opening of the Gallery on our new site.  All of your old images were moved from our previous software and into this new format.   Our public gallery is also available and showing very well.  We have 34,948 images, 23,492,157 total views, 14,130 comments, 228 public categories, and 432 private albums. And, I'm sure there's more to come!!

Our new gallery should be fairly straightforward to use.  However, the images are much more integrated into our system.  For instance, if you want to look at your own albums again, all you need to do is select your username (from the top menu) and choose "My Gallery"... it's that simple.  Your gallery can be used to show off your own ride, build progress, or other things of interest.  It's your gallery, use it as you want.

If you want to post to a public gallery, you can select the Gallery from our main menu, and then navigate to the category of choice.  For instance, if you want to check out images from an event in 2009, simply open the events gallery and navigate to the correct category.  There is one big difference in this software.....  members can now create their own public categories!!   I especially like this idea because our old software did not have this feature.  Instead we had to wait for a moderator (usually yours truly) to create a category before you could upload the images.  Not a huge deal, but, it makes uploading Event photos a much easier task for everyone.

Anyway, feel free to check out the gallery for yourself and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  There is a bit more clean-up I need to perform to make it perfect, but, I wanted to get this thing online so you can start using it again.  Thanks again for your patience and welcome back to the Gallery!
