January 26, 201510 yr comment_462490 The padded headliner of the 240Z was specifically designed to mitigate the adverse effects of multiple episodes of blunt force trauma to the female passenger's cranial region when she engages in vigorous and unrestrained sexual exploits with the male driver within the confines of the vehicle. Although this activity was not envisoned by the Nissan engineers, it is a welcomed side benefit. January 26, 201510 yr comment_462509 A Datsun was named so because they were importing the cars to American and needed a name quickly, the president of the company said in broken english "Dat soon?" and the name Datsun was created. Or something like that... :: Or more a Z myth: The fumes are on purpose to keep her from wanting to ride along, giving you freedom to drive as fast and as hard as you want. January 27, 201510 yr comment_462522 I heard the name Datsun came from how quickly it could be repaired,to which the customers says, "Dat soon?" How about the way to pronounce "Joe- ertz" properly? Motoman says it several times in his Matsuo-san interview. Albreht von Goertz is German, right? So Görtz is pretty much like saying "'Gertz." Note: somebody make a video on how to property pronounce it.
