Unfortunately it is thick in places. Lots of paint jobs over the years. I'm hoping the base metal is straight and will leave me a clean canvas to start all over again.

Another good example of how a sand blasting cabinet and fine abrasive glass can clean and restore parts!

Looking forward to it, I'm just about to send him the 2 service lids on either side of the hood.

I haven't been able to load the pictures onto my computer yet as I am still in the Okanagan. I can tell you that he was able to punch 4 louvers in each side. I had hoped for more but the metal underneath the inspection door is doubled at one point and doesn't allow for louvering. Looks good still! Pics to come by Friday...

Make sure you strip them to bare metal first. A pain for those that have already finished their body work but it ensures a clean and accurate louver.
