Hi again, just making my way through the thread, still........thank you BTW for all the documentation.

If I missed it forgive me, but what did you do with the body to prep for priming? I didnt see if any what you did after the media blasting to seal the metal from flash rusting.

True inspiration, and its kind of scaring me, just a little.

The car sat for a long time in bare metal right? No flash rust?

The humidity in this part of the world tends to be pretty low. We generally don't have to rush to seal the metal after exposing it.

The hand lotion companies do great business here.

None. I have a heated garage/shop and I keep bags of dessicant in the shell.

Thats great, if I tried that in North Florida, the Z would be toast. I was getting concerned after a bunch pages and I never saw primer being applied after the media.

I'm not jumping ahead on the thread, I dont want to spoil the good show.

LOL, enjoy the read. I am happy to leave behind a trail of experiences for people to follow, just be sure to read ahead and get the full story. Some of my experiments failed and some were modified later on. All of my progress has come from the input of others on this forum.
