Thanks but Jim has me covered. I will need to drill the E88 for the N42 manifold and port the injection slots into the head too.
The head has been performance built already and seems a shame to waste it and start fresh on the P90 I have sitting on the shelf. I can always run the E88 with carbs again in the future.

Picked up a bunch of toys for the shop today. Some metal punches for making slugs to fill all the rust proofing holes left in the door frames, a new welding mask (someone else made me all jealous so I bought my own...), some welding gloves, magnetic tool holders, new media blasting grit, cobalt drill bits and few other odds and ends.
Jim (zKars) is coming for a visit on the 2nd so I will have some new shiny bits too!
Happy New Year everyone!!!

So Jim arrived with goodies in hand yesterday. The shiniest part is the throttle cable wall adapter and throttle pedal ball connector. Custom made by the legend himself.
Install was straight forward. It starts with a stepped piece that is threaded that aligns in the firewall for the throttle linkage.

After that, the throttle cable is threaded thru and the custom end with the soldered capture ball for the throttle pedal is locked into place in the pedal ball. A few test fits and trims to make sure the pedal stops on the pedal rest and not on the cable end. Alignment was perfect with stock pedal!

And a couple shots of the engine bay side.

Thanks Jim!

The reason for the repairs is that I have the Skillard stainless door sills with Datsun cutout. I will have these overlaying the painted sill so the green comes thru!
Example below.

Weird how warped and twisty the pattern looks on the old rocker arms.  Even besides the pitting.  Looks like a whole lot of wrong.  Are you reusing the cam shaft?  Better check the lobes closely.  Check the wipe pattern there also.

Nice pictures.
