Does that mean you have to remove the existing airbox and blower?

None of the stock components are re-used basically. I will have new heater lines, new vent hose, all new evaporator and condenser, new blower etc etc

This will be a modern replacement of the old system. It should provide a nice quiet, leak free version of the old basic functions, but also give me AC! Of course, that means a bunch of new lines and a compressor and drier and yadda yadda yadda, but it will be worth it.

Still need the compressor and lines and condenser and..... stuff.

Mark,

Do you have a compressor in mind? Last time I was solo junkyarding, I saw that the early Pathfinders/D21 trucks used a V-belt pulley compressor. I didn't pick it up, but hopefully giving you a nudge to check that compressor out. R-134A too.

So with temperatures around minus 30 Celsius for the last two weeks, my shop furnace decides to stop working this last weekend. Hot surface igniter died. Luckily, I was able to get a new one locally Monday night and get heat back into the shop. Unfortunately, I probably froze a lot of paint and chemicals that will need to be replaced.

In the meantime I was inspired to strip some of the old blue paint off the Stroker... and found... more paint!

What do you guys burn up there?  I'm still on oil.  It's a dying technology around here I had to learn how to rebuild my own furnace.
