A little work in the shop tonight. I installed a new seal on the transmission output shaft.

Also powdered a new plate for the a/c controls. I also added in an external temp gauge. I like knowing how hot it is outside.

I might lower it a little in the housing.

Despite the door drama you are making great progress @wheee!  I know how deflating it can be finding that kind work from previous owners but its what we sign up for and get from time to time.  Glad to see you are pressing on and hopefully the replacement doors work out for you.  Keep up the good work!

When I deliver the doors, would that make me a door-to-door salesman? Or door-to-door-to-door-to-door........

Can you tell I've taken a liking to Irish Whiskey lately???

Or merely a Doorman...? I'll see what I can dig up for Whiskey's for Monday..... I think I have a nice rare Ocean Aged whiskey you might like!

So my hovel was graced with the presence and presents of zKars today.
Jim showed up with my replacement door shells along with a couple other bits and pieces. He also lent his hand showing me the proper way to reinstall the rockers in the E88 head! Thanks Jim! Here he is spending some quality time with his old stroker.

And here he is enjoying a nice ocean aged whiskey... smooth!

Sorted out my Clutch Slave Cylinder. zKars had provided me one with the Stroker, but I had not noticed it was designed for the clutch fork with the hole through it! My 280 fork is solid...

So after careful perusing of the forum and referencing the info from Eurodat, I was able to mount the new CSS with the push rod out of my old rusted CSS.

It’s all in the small details...

Adjustable pushrod (assembled backwards to show needed length)

Adjustable and old solid pushrod:

Properly assembled and adjusted for 110mm static length and 126mm stroke length from bell housing.

Thanks to zKars for the wealth of info and Eurodat for the reference.
