My buddy did that to his car above. The headlights still mount the same way as stock. He just welded the scoops on. No other changes required.

Should have just bought the fenders off of  @zkars .... his we’re already done.

Be sure and mount the hood before working on the buckets or fenders. Would hate to see you fix it and then have to redo it.

For sure. This was just a quick mount and check. I have to get the doors stripped still too. The hood looks pretty good with it just sitting on the car.

I just noticed, but no heat shield for the intake manifold?

It’s in progress. I am modifying the lower shield to adapt to the throttle cable linkage

I love the look.

My guess is the only reason they made the headlight scoops a separate piece is they just couldn't form one sheet into the shape they wanted. Either geometrically impossible, or too much stretching for the metal to handle. I suspect if they could have successfully made the fender / scoop one piece, they would have.

More fun with doors. @zKars provided me with nice “looking” replacement doors for my beat up originals.
The first one (passenger side) was a disappointment with a lot of bondo and mashed panel metal.

The original driver door was pretty bad too. Lots of welds and dents.

The good news was that the replacement driver door from Jim was almost perfect!
