They’re from DPAN on the web. (Datsun Parts and Needs). Plastic but well done. Overall I have decided to avoid the 280Z badging due to the fact this car will be a mix of S30 variants plus a 3100cc engine. A stock Fairlady badge seems to offend the purists too much so this is a nice compromise.

I feel your pain wheee (re: exchange, taxes and shipping). This is the first winter in over 10 years that I have not ordered something from MSA or other US suppliers. The extra costs are just too painful. I have also all but given up on eBay given the above, their ridiculous international shipping charges and the overinflated prices.

You know guys Whiteheads in Toronto is very competitive on pricing, there is nothing they can't get and you don't get raped with the border scam.

I have never found Whiteheads to be more reasonable than the exchange and border rape...

I know I looked at Whitehead when I was considering stainless bumpers.  I ended up buying the bumpers from Vietnam (see thread on this site).  What I paid with shipping and duties was probably $600 less than what Whitehead wanted. I’m not sure what the quality differences were but I have been quite happy with the bumpers from Vietnam. 
 

I am local with cash so I will look at them again in the future.

I look at them from time to time but they seem comparable or higher than the price I get by drop shipping parts at the Montana border, driving down and picking it up. (Math: 6-8 hours depending on the border wait plus $80 fuel plus a few $ storage fees plus GST at the border.  So it works for big ticket stuff, heavy stuff, stuff that won't ship to Canada at all, or stuff that ships free in the 48).   We make a run 3-4 times a year.   @wheee! could play too but I think this "Pony Express" is a little too slow for his liking....
