I just changed the tank about two weeks ago and it was fine at that time. It might be a nozzle flow issue even though I have lots of gas in the tank and it sounds like good flow.... I will look into it more for sure as this is a new issue. Your Tech was right. I had a case once with bad gas, new filled tank. I was stressing out for a couple days on why I couldnt weld. Read online and figured out I just had a case of poor gas quality. Good to know you got it sorted out. February 6, 20178 yr Author comment_512006 I took the shroud off the tip, cleaned the tip and wire feed plus the nozzle flow holes, then cleaned the shroud and tried again.... problem gone. Not sure if any one thing was the cause, I was just glad I was back to solid hot welds!
