March 26, 201510 yr comment_466494 What grit was the flapper wheel? And you used a air driven die grinder or drill? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/50909-72-240z-rebuild/?&page=10#findComment-466494 Share on other sites
March 26, 201510 yr Author comment_466495 That thing is old and rounded out. It feels like a worn 150 maybe? And it's an air powered die/dye? Grinder. The dremel cut it fine but made a bunch of thin cuts. That flapper will cut half an inch if you're not careful. I was very happy with my reliefs. I may have drank 4 or 5 beers afterwords. This stuff makes me nervous! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/50909-72-240z-rebuild/?&page=10#findComment-466495 Share on other sites
March 26, 201510 yr comment_466511 The flapper wheel was a good idea and probably was very manageable to handle. The larger diameter of the wheel helps with making sure you don't gouge.
