'72 240Z Rebuild

Question on 2.4 pistons. They don't have the notch indicating the front but there is an F on one side. Monroe says the stamped numbers on the rod and cap that keep them matched up should be on the oil filter side. That don't jive with my notes nor the F on the pistons. Can anybody help me to determine the fronts? If I go by that F it would put the matching numbers on the flat part of the rods and caps on the manifold side and thats how I wrote it down back in the spring when I tore it down. I have to quit drinking and wrenching. LOL

Finally got some me/Z time.  :)

 

It's a little sissy looking baby blue in the pictures, flash I guess, but it looks okay in my garage and then the engine bay.

 

EDIT: the crank nose pulley will be changed to a pinkish BLACK.  Looks bad painted blue looking here;
