I marked the mark location.  It looks fully retarded I think.  Rotation is counterclockwise and when you turn the dizzy, you're moving the pickup.  So yours shows the pickup moved away from the reluctor as it rotates, which would be delayed or retarded.

It's still funny now, but just imagine how funny it is to a room full of teenage boys.

For me and my teenage buddies it was "Monty Python and the The Holy Grail".  My Mom had a VHS tape of it.  We spit our cookies and milk (:P) out when he cut off the Black Night's arm.  "tis but a scratch".

Do you remember "The Firesign Theater"?  Or is that too old for you?

:)

I had to google.com that, so it's a little before my time.  I don't remember any "comedy records" from my youth, we had a VCR as big as a microwave.  I did like Peter Sellers in The Pink Panther though.  I grew up in the 70s. :bunny:

My new remanufactured distributor is in need of adjustment according to Blue's rebuild.  I don't have equal spacing between the reluctor and stator.  Thanks @Blue

Mine looks like this,

And it should look like this,

Another day, another problem.  But I'm glad to get it right now instead of later and I need something easy to do and get off my back and feet, yesterday I was under the car all day.  Today I have knots on my forehead! and transmission fluid in my ear. ROFL
