Hi all, I am still green with this "Tapatalk" stuff. Since we have abandon the old site I have not seen or found where or what was done with the old "classified section" we had. Any info on how to relocate it would be greatly appreciated.

In Chrome, IE & Firefox, there is a menu bar on the left side of the screen that has a link. If you don't have a menu bar on the left, http://www.datsunclassifieds.com will work.

Ok, I have to ask a truly stupid question... why is tapatalk associated with this site? I am a typical confused. I use to access this site via the "classic zcar" mobile app but then kept getting this server error, would you like to download "tapatalk".

So, my other question is are we going to maintain access to the original "classic zcar" website or will it eventually require to use tapatalk. Sometimes old shoes are just fine, especially we me. Don't have a lot of free time to spend learning a way to communicate with this site.

Tapatalk is associated with your phone,  It's an app.  It's not necessary.  What happens when you click "no" to the question?

Zed Head, what I get is the following: Error  Connection error. Please try again later. Click Ok and it goes back to the login screen. I can get to the site through explorer but when I am away I use my phone to visit the site but apparently I can use the CZCC Mobile app any more.

my "old" phone (ancient iphone 4c) won't even open the czcc website anymore - it just sits on a blank page. maybe i'm just not doing it right, but tapatalk seems pretty clunky to me - i can't browse around like on the site, i'm just forced to read what it tells me is the most current post.

i just don't bother on my phone anymore...

Yeah, that is pretty much the route I will go with. Originally, I thought the site was Tapatalk but thank goodness its not. It is terribly diificult to do historical type searchs on tapatalk.

Just disappointed we moved from the czcc app, oh well. Thanks all for clarifying that one tapatalk is not a necessity unless you are mobile.

Sorry I was unavailable due to work travel outside the country and it was hard to do any work on the site.

 

Regarding the classifieds, we are still using DatsunClassifieds for all our ads.  However, I am looking to add the capability back into our own website soon.  Just need to do some more work on it, create categories, accounts, etc... 

 

As far as mobile users, Tapatalk is NOT required.  I just tested and fixed a problem with our existing mobile theme.  It's now working again.  To use it, if you're on a mobile phone, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Use Mobile Theme" and it will show up on your phone.  Sorry there was a bug and it was showing a blank screen in the past.  Just fixed it tonight.

Testing this using my iPhone and the mobile theme. Enjoy
