The appreciation will be a double-edged sword making NOS and used parts spike in price due to rampant speculation.

All good for the nostalgic Z, values are getting up and availability of good specimens low, but if Jay Leno gets one on his herd then the Z will be in the ranks .

Yikes!  I would like to see what a $53,000 240z looks like.  I agree prices are rising but are they really that high now?  As others have said the cost of parts will rise too but hopefully the increased values will bring more quality reproduction parts on to the market.
