Hey Carl, I saw that you were from pleasanton and thought I would say hi! My father lived in Livermore till he passed away. I moved out there to take care of him in his last few months and ended up staying there over a year. It's a long story. Anyway I really loved everything about the area (except the high cost of living-housing etc. and really miss the nice weather you get there. Anyway just thought I'd say hi! I'm a new member and have been reading some of the forums and appreciate your sense of humor.

Weather is been very nice for the past week. Clear and sunny and in high 60's to low 70's, but rain is coming back in a big way for the next 5 days at least. I understand what you mean about high cost of living in my area. Housing has been expensive for years, and now the gas prices have gone wacked. $2.30 a gallon for regular 87 octane currently.

Sorry to hear about your father. Mine passed away 7 years ago, and I still miss him greatly.
