Katayama was 25 when he joined Nissan on April 1, 1935, and he and the company grew up together. Katayama worked in publicity and advertising before finally landing a position as designer.

 

 

 

...which is untrue. Where does this misinformation come from? Is it in fact just a misunderstanding that stems from being called "The Father Of The Z"...?

Yea, well the SPL 310 didn't have an 18 year production run either.  And now that I have been sucked in with a post on this thread; how did you arrive at "Finally Recognizes" Bryan?  Hagerty has been writing articles about the 240Z for several years now.
